Check Casing Depth: Confirm the depth of the window casing. If it measures less than 2 inches, an outside mount is necessary to securely accommodate the mounting brackets. Record the Measurements: Note down the width and height measurements accurately, rounding down to the nearest even 1/8 inch for precise dimensions.

Measure the Width: To determine the width, measure the top, middle, and bottom of the window. Note down the narrowest measurement, rounding it down to the nearest even 1/8 inch.

Measure the Height: For the height measurement, measure the left, middle, and right sections of the window. Write down the longest measurement, rounded down to the nearest even 1/8 inch.

No Deductions Needed: Unlike outside mount blinds, you don't need to make any deductions for inside mounts. We will automatically take a 1/2 inch deduction for clearance to ensure the blinds operate smoothly and do not scrape against the window frame.

Record the Actual Measurements: Record the actual width and height of the window casing opening after making the necessary round-downs.
